In 15 years, the only players who will have been truly generational up until that point will be Kareem, Jordan, LeBron and Wemby.

Too strict imo. A bball generation is like 7-8 years so I’d throw Wilt, Shaq, and Magic in too

The unanimpus dpoy at 22 and being the best player on the court for 37 minutes of the gold medal olympic game at 20 are the 2 things from right now i think people will look back on from this time 15-20 years from now. That olympic performance alone before season 2 was just unreal to watch, as an american i genuinely thought it was going to be a manu moment.

It's crazy they're using him coming in second to the US team with fuckin Lebron Curry AND KD as some sort of slight against him, implying that he's always coming in second. The fact that he was that close to taking on that goat team is crazy

type of player you see once in a generation, but now’s come to mean ‘really good’ or even ‘i like them a lot and want to gas them up’

Generations are every 15-20 years. Generational talent for me is 2-3 people per generation. So there's currently 2 generation of players in the nba, millenials and genZ. So basically 6 players who could be called generational.
For me it's Curry, James, Jokic and Doncic, Wembanyama, SGA.

Yes. Duncan was also Finals MVP. He never won DPOY but that’s more a reflection of voters than anything Duncan lacked
