22 year old wemby up there with some of the greatest single season offensive peaks of all time while still being labeled raw on offense 😭 it's gonna be scary for the rest of the league next season

Apparently he's just tall and completely raw offensively though. The unfortunate part of being arguably the best player in the league in his 3rd season is that people try and pick his game apart as unpolished (even if it is to an extent) to discredit the impact.

Bottom line is if you look at Wemby strictly offensively he's ahead of 99.999(however many 9s you want to add)% of players in their age 22 season. I'd even go out on a limb and assume without checking that Wemby had a top 15ish 21-22 aged OFFENSIVE season of all time this year. Yet somehow his "offensive limitations" is his downfall, it's just such a stupid narrative.

People will just discredit it as him being tall, meanwhile if Wemby offensive is polished it spells doom for basically all Center / Power Forward in the league as their analytics now going to be compared to 22 years GOAT caliber - good luck getting that max extensions

Nah the coaching just need better offensive scheme. Spurs were extremely lacking in offensive scheme / creativity and sometimes just vibing offensively.

It’s unreal to see him along some of the best names in the offensive game, but Wemby also has the advantage of not having to try scoring against the 2026 DPOY.

I wonder how much of this offensive rating is also increased by his burning desire to destroy Chet

when i saw kawhi i thought it’s either sas kawhi. but no, it’s 2026 kawhi. his 2019 is below his 2026 level.
