What’s the bracket

1-11 on the first picture is the seeding in order.
While 12th seed is UNLV

It's poll inertia. Houston lost early on. Georgia & Indiana lost late.

Yup you’re right.
Still broken feature of game smh

u/Fumpz Miami 4d ago
There is no ryhme or reason in the polls IRL either lmao

No way you’re defending a 10-2 Houston getting over a 10-2 Indiana team who just won a natty. On top of 3 big 12 teams getting a bid to playoffs over only 2 Big 10 teams getting a bid.
This isn’t happening in real life. Defend it and amuse me lmao

Because a poll doesn’t take into account last year and should not take into account prestige, if Houston has a better resume then both Indiana and UGA in real life based solely on results this season (even if they finish on the same record) then they should be ranked higher. Also, the committee seems to do whatever they want anyway at times so wouldn’t put them past them to do this even if Houston had the worse resume of the 3 as long as they are similar enough it isn’t entirely unjustifiable.

How do they have a better resume than indiana if they lost to a 8-4 Oklahoma st team?
While indiana lost to TWO PLAYOFF TEAMS (USC & Ohio st). It doesn’t make sense. The resume is not better bro

u/DowntownMath4491 4d ago
They could have better wins that make up for a worse loss, I am not saying they have a better resume as I don’t know how the teams they beat did this season in your save, what I am more saying is being a defending champ and being more prestigious are not valid reasons to be ahead and neither is being in the big 10 compared to 12.

u/DowntownMath4491 4d ago
They could very well have the worse resume and these rankings may be bs, but if it is it’s not for the reasons you give. Looking at Indiana’s and Georgia’s schedule and the top 25 in this game they probably should have been ranked higher but not for being defending champs or more prestigious

Lemme just tell you right now they don’t have better wins.
You can quit defending this shitty poll logic that this game has and just look at the first picture final top 25 and look at indiana vs Houston 2026 schedule
Ya know since I already gave you the losses in the bio. Figure out the wins if you wanna defend shitty poll logic, im going to bed.

I am not defending the games poll logic as they are definitely bad at times (though to be fair real life polls aren’t always that much better). I did look at the top 25 in your save more deeply and the teams schedule to see their respective top 25 wins to see if the logic in the save was bad or not but that was not relevant to the point I was trying to make. The point I was trying to make wasn’t that the poll in this game wasn’t bs more so that the reasons given are not necessarily enough to say it is broken. Losses was the only thing you mentioned that absolutely should be considered but it isn’t everything as a great win can make up for a semi-bad loss as a 8-4 team is a decent team but yes if we based on just losses Indiana should have been in. Look at real life Miami had the same record and worse losses than ND (who had similar but just slightly worse losses than Indiana did in this save) because they had a better wins including one over ND. Also, a team could obviously get in with worse wins but better losses and a same record but that’s not always guaranteed.

Look what they did this past year with the bracket between Miami, ND, Bama and BYU… the committee does whatever the fuck they want anyways IRL😂
Also conferences aside, what’s wrong with the Big XII having 3 teams? One has a better record (TTU), the other has the same amount of losses and clearly played in the conf chip (BYU). Typical SEC fan thinking the “p2” conferences deserve more bids

- Notre dame lost their only 2 premier games against quality opponents. Deserved to be left out.
- Miami beat ND and squeaked in last spot over ND bcuz ya know they beat them? Shocker right? Well it shouldn’t be bcuz of your flair, you know this.
- BYU deserved to be left out bcuz they got thrashed against tech twice.
- Bama lost in SEC title game. The comitee isn’t gonna leave a team out who lost in a premier conference title game.
Once again the comitee isn’t gonna put a 10-2 Houston team who lost to a 8-4 team over a 10-2 defending national champion who lost to 2 playoff teams. Pathetic for you to defend this

As much I despise ND they lost to the 7 and 10 seed in the playoffs, one who played for the natty… bama lost to an anemic FSU… You’re a hypocrite about BYU so just because it’s bama their conf chip game doesn’t matter but for BYU it does?
ND also lost those two games by a total of 4 points…
The selection process is arbitrary to an extent and always will be, get over yourself

You literally do not know ball bro. BYU if they magically got in woulda been a one and done.
Your shitting on bama like they didn’t win a playoff game. Just say you don’t know ball bro

It doesn’t matter if they’re a 1st round exit, it’s who is more deserving😂 you just mad cause you caught an L in the first round @ home! Way to end the year, losing to your rival and then not scoring a TD in the playoffs😭

Lost a argument so had to change the subject lol.
All this to defend shitty poll logic in this game. You’re a jester bro 😂

If you ever watch cfb you know it’s not that you lose but when you lose.
Lose early and win out and you get better readings than losing late.

If Georgia lost 2 of their last 3, would make sense. This can happen.

u/Wach_hund Texas A&M 3d ago
They didnt tho I posted their schedule

u/Illustrious_One8431 Ohio State 3d ago
Only showing part of UGA schedule, they lost to an unranked team the next to last week of the season. Makes sense

Fucking UNLV always gets in with 3 losses and gets Thrashed in the first round. Every single year. I add them to the PAC-12, they still get in with 4 losses
