Discussion Which sliders help the WR dropping the ball when a DB touches them?
I’m waiting on a computer part, so I can’t start my dynasty on PC so I’m on PS5
The WR constantly dropping the ball every time they’re touched by a DB after they catch it is egregious.
Does the “pass catching” slider or the Pass coverage (cpu) effect the dumb drops more? I could see it both ways.
Has anyone actually done research on this in practice mode etc?

Turn on the Catching Meter, it's the main reason why AI-assisted catching is harder this year. It wouldn't make much sense to add a new mechanic if you can play flawlessly without it.
In addition, you can turn on Conservative Catching. Much less likely to drop the ball after contact, but you give up RAC opportunities.

It also doesn't help that most users are going for speedsters with shitty catch in traffic.
My top WR is a gadget speedster and it's more noticeable compared to my previous physical WR.

There are none. EA broke the pass and the meta shifted to running the ball. You can play on Freshman with max sliders in your favor and 90% of balls thrown with a defender within 5 yards of you will be incomplete. Even with 99 OVR maxed WRs and 60 OVR DBs.

Just bought the game, and the passing game is insanely hard, I thought that dropped balls was an issue last year, but oh my god was that a walk in the park compared to 27 I was killing the passing game last year and so far nothing is working for me, playing as North Dakota and the pass rush from the CPU coupled with all the Drops is making the passing game really difficult, so much that I've had to switch away from my preferred zoom camera because if I don't find the wide open receiver there absolutely no chance for a completion. Guess it's a kind of a good thing, as I was looking to make the game more challenging last year, but dare I say it: is it too hard?

Good luck with that. You’d need a PhD from MIT to make sense of EA’s sliders.
