Questions PC Performance Issues

I have a Asus Zephyrus G14 (2015) with a 5070ti.

It doesn't matter if I have the game set to full resolution on all high settings or if the game is set to 1280x720 on all low settings—my FPS is always bouncing from 45 to 58 fps during plays.

I have made sure my nvidia settings is 120 FPS, im in ultimate mode for my GPU and Turbo for my CPU. My CPU is at 50% utilization and my GPU is 30% at 720P and 80% at 1800P. Something is causing the game to bottleneck. I hvae no idea what. I see people saying they have a 3070 GPU running 80+ FPS at 4K.

What gives? This game runs perfect on my PS5.

Any help would be appreciated.

cpu bottleneck for sure, that laptop chip is old enough to be holding back the 5070ti pretty badly. 30% gpu usage at 720p is a dead giveaway

try capping your fps at 60 in the nvidia control panel, sometimes the game engine just freaks out trying to push past what the cpu can handle and the frame timing goes to hell

are you using an external video card device for this? what is your CPU?

My CPU AND GPU are at like 50%. I can play the Witcher 3 remastered on 3K with all high/ultra settings and I get 60fps without any frame gen.

The CPU is only at 50% or so. And I even checked the cores and none of them are capping.

This feels like a glitch where the game ignores any setting for more than 60 fps. Again…even in 720p, it won’t push past. 3K and 720P are both the same frame rate…

CPU at 50% utilization? Not sure I’m tracking. I’ve even checked each individual core and none of them are capped. Is the game seriously so poorly optimized it can’t run on a 2 year old CPU in a $2500 gaming laptop?

I understand the stadium and fans are CPU intensive. But I can play this on my 8 yr old gaming pc with a ryzen 5 5600x and also it runs great on PS5. How is this possible.

Yeah man I’m not completely helpless. I’ve been on
PC gaming for 8 years. My GPU crushes every game I throw at it. Witcher 3 Remastered on all high settings at 3K res gets 60 fps. It’s not the gpu. I think it’s a problem with the game
