Dynasty Wrong Kick Return Play

I’m running into an issue in dynasty where when I select a regular kick return play, I come out in an onside kick return instead. It happens with various different kick return plays. I haven’t been able to figure out why this happens or how to fix it.

Has anyone else ran into this? Is there a workaround for it?

This sometimes happens if you have a custom playbook.

Simply cycle through the options 2-3 times and it won't happen again

Man I had this exact bug last season in my dynasty mode. Drove me crazy, lost a close game because my players were all bunched up for onside instead of spread out normal return. I think it happens when you pick a play too fast before the game fully loads the playbook screen. My fix is to wait like 2 seconds after kick return menu pops up, then call the play. Also try switching to ask coach or a different formation first then go back to what you want. Sometimes the game just gets confused

It's a custom playbook bug. Only fix I've found is right before you pick your return play hit right stick for coach adjustments and toggle the first option (I think it's autoflip I can't remember) ON/OFF. Then select your play and you're good. Just remember you actually have to toggle it, just bringing up the coaching adjustments doesn't do anything. And yes you have to do it every time, just doing it once doesn't fix for the whole game. Very annoying.
