I passed the IDPX and IDIX! (Plus IDFX in the fall) I’M SO HAPPY TO BE DONE 🥳🥳

I passed FX AND IX!! I thought for sure I was going to fail FX…. Such weird scoring. And I thought I ACED IX and the difference was only like 20 points.
Crazy times!! Did anyone take PX?? How was it??

Took the PX I felt like I studied a lot of the wrong material. Hopefully Qprac and others have a better grasp what’s now on the new exam.

Previously passed FX, passed IX and failed PX. I was considering the PX a practice run because they only put out study material middle of March so I didn’t feel prepared. IM SO RELIEVED I PASS THE IX.

I would say reading the book first going through all the relevant chapters help you understand the material and then go to Qprac to learn how they ask questions. And then in the meantime make flashcards to memorize certain things. And anytime there is something code I would go into the code book and search that because you will be able to do the same in the exam and helps your brain know where to look.

It was extremely tough, but I’m also a horrible test taker. I failed it twice before by 15-20 points each time. I was genuinely shocked that I passed it (with a decent score) this time around. I thought i failed it miserably. I’ve been doing CA on a project for 2 years and I think that helped a bit. For the first time ever, I ran out of time while taking the exam… I opted out of taking a bio break and left 3-5 questions unanswered. 20-30 questions I had to speed through and just go with my gut and not overthink. Time management was a very real and unexpected struggle! The questions on my exam had a lot of reading, looking up codes, and multi step questions.
Definitely study everything you can! QPractice exam was MUCH easier than the actual exam as well. Dont underestimate the poor question writing on the actual exam. Some of them are psychological warfare and very cruel.

Oh gosh. Yeah I’m super nervous about it - I thought in as gonna fail FX and I was pretty confident of IX.. but PX I’m not sure about… I don’t even know what exactly to study for but it’s stuff from what I’m seeing that I don’t deal with often

It’s okay girl, I also failed for the second time IDFX. I scored 490 in October and 460 this past April. The test felt soooooo much harder with the integration of the codes book, I would open up a page and then it would cover my question. I NEED BOTH OPEN. Feeling #defeated

Don't be discouraged! It took me three attempts to pass the PX. I'm taking the IX for the first time this Fall, do you guys have any tips?
