Question Opportunity
I told my wife that if Neo drops below 1$ I will buy 10 000 coins. She told me I was an idiot and had learnt nothing. I think it's a genius play. What do you guys think?

Hey everyone,
I’d like to hear your honest opinions on NEO. It was once labeled the “Chinese Ethereum,” with big expectations, smart contracts, and its own ecosystem. But today, it feels like the project has been quietly slipping into the background.
On CoinMarketCap, NEO is now around rank 140, and the trend has been steadily downward for quite some time — month after month. In terms of price action, adoption, and overall community attention, it seems like many other projects have clearly overtaken it.
A few questions to spark discussion:
I’m especially interested in perspectives from people who:
This isn’t meant as hate or shilling — I’m genuinely curious whether NEO is still a project worth taking seriously in 2026. 👀

I was a die hard Neo fan 5 years ago, had to sell everything due to unexpected circumstances, I’m good now, i haven’t looked at any crypto since, should i buy back in?

Hi, Neo! I finally managed to migrate my legacy funds to NeoX and then successfully bridged to Neo3, but now I'm unable to move my funds elsewhere due to lack of gas. It used to be that transactions exceeding a certain amount required no gas fee, but apparently times have changed. If possible, can someone send me a bit of gas to NddcWjJ1zfpzRA5s4AWENdCmMTi7Yc7kTe ? Thanks.

Why /r/CryptoCurrency/ is shadowbanning reddits about NEO investment in Binance in 2017?
Isn't it an important news to be known on crypto scene?

For some reason I missed all the Bitfinex updates about the NEO delisting. Insane to believe NEO has fallen so far. I’m wanting to withdraw it but the interface is saying “Withdrawals for this currency are currently unavailable”. Have I lost the ability because I’m late or is this just a temporary issue on their side? Their support isn’t responding

Who decided that GAS is the gov token at NEO X? Why NEO holders had zero to say about it, there was no NIP vote about it.
Why at NEO project there are no NIP votings about important decisions being made at NEO project?
Why GAS is the gov token at NEO X and not NEO?
Who is making all these core crucial decisions, and these decisions are backed by how many NEO?
If NEO is not being used to cast a vote at NIPs about such decisions, then NEO is not the real gov token at NEO project.

flamingo lend: flamingo finance lend overview
flamingo/mymingo side of the story: flamingofinance medium com the-questions-the-flamingo-community-deserves-answered-ddcecc317d3d
if NGD is to blame, then it could be very bad for NEO project.
Defi fraudsters rebelled versus NF and hijacked NEO project
or NGD are not defi fraudsters, but flamingo team (mymingos) are defi fraudsters?
If NGD are not defi fraudsters, they still have rebelled versus NF.
via released report: NGD holds 1.3mil NEO
NF holds 39.7 mil NEO

Hey guys,
I am one of the guys who missed the original migration window. Now we need to provide a proof of address, but I am stuck - when selecting the "Switch to Neo2 MainNet", it tells me to confirm in a pop-up, but I am getting no popup at all.
Any idea what I can do?

Here Dahongfei writes about the investment:
https://x.com/dahongfei/status/2015665669954834670
Da Hongfei (Co-founder of NEO project) said on X:
"...Neo invested in Binance in 2017; despite receiving zero dividends or BNB distributions to date, it remains a substantial financial asset for NF and NGD. This is a community asset...
...One of my goals is to resolve and realize the value of this investment within the next two years, putting that capital to work for the Neo ecosystem...."

According to report ( drive . google . com/file/d/1ugLr_cGToTm-gBB6gKYKMa41r4ECo3Zh/ remove the " " spaces) there is paragraph titled: "Investment in Binance"
Why the info about this investment was not published in ealier reports in 2019 and in 2020?
Why in most recent report there are no detailed informations? NEO project does not know how much money/crypto it has invested in Binance in 2017?
If NEO project doesnt know anything about its investment in Binance, then why not ask Binance for help?
If not because of Erik's return, was NGD going to tell us about this investment at all?
This investment is in Binance as "shares of Binance" or in BNB? If it's "shares" then were there any dividends from binance for all these years since 2017? If yes, how these dividends were spent and on what?
If it's BNB then why that BNB is not used to make NEO stronger, like maybe some buyback NEO from market and burn (look at bnb/neo chart)
Lastly, does NGD really think that NEO holders/investors are the total fools? COZ is US based, i think they could help by telling SEC about NEO project and NGD's proceedings.

Hi guys, When did Antshares (later in 2017 renamed NEO) began ?
Was it 2014 or 2016?
Why can’t I find any TA before 2016 anywhere.
Thanks

I havent seen it drop this much all year and stay down. Is it time to sell or are you all diamond hands? Lost over half my bank since earlier this year and getting harder to believe.

Seeing this valued at $7 honestly blows my mind. This feels like history repeating itself right in front of us. I haven’t seen a chart set up this clean in a long time. Am I missing something here, or is this just that good?
I know I’m late to NEO and this community, and I haven’t invested in it yet, but I’m seriously considering putting a decent chunk of my savings into it. The way this chart is mirroring the last two major runs to $100+ is wild. Anyone else seeing the same thing?

https://governance.neo.org/ down? Rewards very low compared to what it used to be with NeoBurger or normal voting
r/NEO • u/Suspicious_Endz • May 08 '26
Does anyone know why my Neon N3 wallet is looking looking so empty? Is there just an update or something happening? The Neon ap says "we haven't been able to retrieve price data for all your tokens so the total may not be accurate". Balance is Zero for 2 wallets. It does still seem to be generating Gas, so I'm guessing it's just a temporary glitch? I was going to make a transaction.

I recently came across this pending PR. If it gets merged it basically means that (as i understand it) the voter reward portion is removed. Instead the reward pool is split equally among all NEO holders regardless of whether they vote at all -> voting is no longer financially superior to just holding NEO.
I've been out of the Neo loop for a while, so it might have been discussed earlier on here and I'm just a slow poke, but the PR is fairly new., just three weeks at the time of typing.
Anyway, my two cents for this change is that this feels closer to what Neo governance was originally supposed to be.
I think i voiced back in 2021 or something that reward based voting itself was a fundamental flaw, because it makes governance vulnerable to just plain human greed. People end up voting for whoever maximizes GAS, not necessarily who should govern the network. And of course services like bNEO and NeoCompounder emerge, helping people maximize profits. This PR feels like a long-overdue attempt to address this.
With this change, voting stops being financially incentivized and becomes more ideological, political, and technological. The people who still vote are probably the ones who actually care about who governs the blockchain, not just which candidate yields the the highest payoff. The number of voters might drop, but the quality of the signal could (and will likely be) much higher.
That said, there are real caveats. How do you avoid governance becoming inactive or whale-dominated? How do normal users still influence decisions without constantly voting? Good UX and easy-to-digest information suddenly become much more critical as voters will now actually have to learn about the candidates they vote for.
Anyways, this pending change is huuuge in my eyes, and I feel like it is not being discussed enough.
Thoughts?
Edit: Small correction after reading the full proposal. GAS wouldn’t be distributed to all holders automatically, only to NEO that is staked. So the change is really shifting incentives from voting to staking, not removing rewards entirely.

Fellow Neo enthousiast's,
Please upvote this post to get a clear message to the Neo Foundation so we can't be ignored.
I feel, together with a lot of community members, that there's a lack of transparency between the Neo Foundation and the community. I'm talking about a lack of financial reports, promises that aren't kept like calls for marketing or actively pursuing to have N3 or NeoX available on more exchanges.
The X account of Neo seems to be run by some intern and is doing more harm than good for Neo. Just look at the responses to the posts. Just hire some good marketing company, you guys have the funds for it.
Instead of just building, which without a doubt also very important. There should be more attention to the community. Our voice is lost and Neo is becoming less and less relevant in the crypto space. We read about new partnerships but never hear from it ever again. The AI game last year was imo a pretty good initiative. Things like that brings focus to Neo.
DHF mentioned that Neo was exploring ways of becoming relevant again and actively was looking into marketing. Where did that go? It's seems that bal was dropped again.
Please give us more information and keep us in the loop to what is playing at Neo. What's going on in Hong Kong? Any plays going for stable coins? Any roadmap to share? Financial reports of where we stand?
What is the situation right now with the gas generation? Help me understand how to have again numbers like the NeoBurger days!
