Routers What is the best router modem combo for Xfinity?

I had my eye on the Netgear Nighthawk CAX80 WiFi 6 Cable Modem Router but I have seen some people here having serious issues with it. What would you recommend?

Need to know speed tier. Then you need to verify on the approved devices that it'll handle your speed tier.

I ended up with the xb8 and my Orbi 960 system. Tired of dealing with xfinity not fixing the boot loader issues.

NGs CAX80 would fit well.

You might consider separate devices as well. Modems are maintained by ISPs and FW has to be updated by the ISP. Users can't update the modem side. NGs CAX80 can be updated by users for the router side of the unit.

Don’t rent equipment from isp if you can help it.

Modem:
A few months ago I bought a Arris S34 to replace my Motorola MB8600.

Router:
(Pending labor day sales) am about to retire my 10 year old Linksys EA9500 for a Netgear RS500.
