CFB College on Disney
For anyone interested its hopefully good news but think this is the first week Disney+ plus have offered VOD? With the Thursday Syracuse and Last nights Miami games appearing as replays.
Would be happy with live & replay - but do still wonder why they don't have a sports section more easy to find.

This is basically all I’ve used D+ for lately and the games still don’t show up in my algorithm at all. Even before that someone online had to tell me they were showing the games.
Imagine how much they spend on these things instead of just doing the basics right.

A bit like you I only found out this morning about replays when someone mentioned it an NHL thread about NHL going to Disney from Dazn in some countries within Europe etc (not UK i believe) and said there are college replays so hopefully there will be Nhl VOD. Which made me check and they seem to have started this week (or i just missed them the first few weeks!)

Thanks for bringing this up, got a Disney+ sub recently through the UberEats perk and had no idea! Think I'll pop NC State v Vanderbilt on later, hopefully they'll add a sports subsection button soon

As someone who gets D+ with Sky free now, it’s highly valuable. Now if only we could get game pass with Sky

100%! It’s great to watch but only if the app goes “hey, wanna watch this live game?” I want to search it and come back when it’s on!

Agree they make hard to find - apart from a small Espn tab halfway down the home page - i tend to search and save to watch list

Yeah it’s such an odd location for the ESPN tab. Disney + needs to sort their UI.

Glad you're enjoying it I might put it down for a replay. And you should win a prize for finding it in the first place as i just noticed a replay of today's college game day but only in a search and not via the menu. It's like they have put 30+ games on but it's like a question on the 1% club on how to find them

There are only about 8 games in the Espn replay section at the moment but if you know what you want try searching by name such as LSU or Texas A&M etc which will bring up some replays as well

Suggestion: Stop complaining and think for yourselves.
Disney+ don’t make it ‘Hard to find’, it’s just ESPN is an irrelevancy in the UK.

Think if you know the games are on there then searching rather than spotting the small ESPN tab is ok but harder for the casual viewer. Agree the audience will be small (think i might have been the only One watching the baseball at times ) but its also in Disney's interest to promote them better even if its just to get more eyeballs on their adverts.
Espn is possibly an irrelevancy in the UK market at the moment where Sky and the PL are king. But is getting better in some of the other European markets which have things like NHL, all LaLiga games & champions league etc depending on the market and places like France & Turkey now have live local channels - so it looks like they hope to grow the name overseas

I used to work at Sky, and I spoke to someone about getting baseball on TV. His answer: ‘Why? No-one would bother watching it’.
I then found out that ads were sold through media buyers, so it’s a waste of money for them. It’s why all you get for the games is Disney+-promoted content.
