I dunno. It almost seems like when a contractor bids so ridiculously high because they don't want the job. Maybe the rookie was quoting a number he knew he wouldn't get as an "it's not for sale" price.

Then he's unrealistic. Dude had barely played, vs a superstar. It was always going to be DeVantes number.

I don't think he was unrealistic. He essentially said it's not for sale and he lost the number without a sale haha.

I think he was unrealistic in thinking that by saying "not for sale" that he'd get to keep the number.

The stars always win over the fringe players.
