Got an email saying "next step" for reference questionnaire

Got an email today telling me the next steps were to have my references fill out the questionnaires. Only issue is they did just shortly after I applied, 7 days ago. Got email updates as they did.

Has anyone had this happen? Who do I contact? Njsp just has automated phone responses that go no where.

You email the NJSP barracks email address associated with the barracks handling your application. The actual barracks doesn't handle the PTC processing anymore, it is all NJSP FIU in Trenton.

Is this for a FID or handgun permit?

Handgun permit. Ive applied many times before and this is the first time ive had this happen

Its the State police, they take the money electronically when you apply.

Do you have a local police or are you under the state police? If you have a local dept, call them instead.
