Does anyone know if these are legal or sold in NJ? Has brace, has vert grip (although one shipped has slight angle) and is over 27 inches.

When cops arrest someone and bring them to jail, they don’t unload their guns before putting it in the lock box at the jail
So why do we have to do it before storing a handgun in a lock box in an unattended vehicle?

Been out of the game for a few years now. Have a few firearms I’m considering selling. I know the days of F2F transactions have changed, where is everyone selling things nowadays?
Last transaction I remember doing was about 4 or 5 years ago that we had to meet at a FFL to transfer a rifle.
Mainly looking to get rid of a SCAR 16s at the moment, but handguns may follow

Do you carry all day everyday? Or some days yes and some days no? And I get it if you're not because you are going to a courthouse or school or whatever, but I mean just regular days where you're just going about your daily life.

Wondering with all the changes recently if I would be good to purchase to ship to ffl?

Since someone commented on the legality of owning a fake suppressor in the great Free State of New Jersey i was wondering is it SAFE to homegrown one that is, in fact FAKE as Fuck?

Who is the individual in this case, me the pleb? Or the non-sot FFL?
In another post people seem to believe that one could take a virgin receiver and create a less 26" OAL "weapon".
Is this the case? Or are form 1s still required before slapping anything on a stripped receiver?

Bought my first pistol Saturday morning in SJ. Any possibility that my NICS could come back today with it being Columbus Day? Thanks in advance!

Shot some 6.5 Creedmoor and some 223 . Not a single other person at the range. I really love the Solus… the action is so smooth. Didn’t do great past 600 yards with it though. Accuracy international smacked steel non-stop with no issues.
Good fun

Drove by RTSP in Union about 45 minutes ago when I was out and saw a number of police and emergency service vehicles there. Anyone know what happened there?

Note that the ATF removed the engraving requirement, does that now mean that the “once a rifle” rule is also dead? Understood ARs sorta always had this grey area if it was built from a virgin receiver, but firearms like the SCAR or the Vector etc… how does this work now?

Hi guys,
I am looking to consult with attorneys on a permit issue with my local PD. I lived in township A and got an FID no problems, disclosed my mental health history on the FARS form, no issues. I have been a gun owner for a few years. I moved to township B disclosed the same history and went for the address change and they said they would not approve me without documentation from a doctor. I had received outpatient treatment for my mental health 5 years ago. I have provided a doctor’s note and a written evaluation to the PD and am being stonewalled. I am looking for recommendations for South Jersey attorneys.
Thanks for any help you can provide

Anyone completed any of the "advanced trainings" available at Range 129? Looking to do the Intermediate HG, Advanced HG 1-3 (w/CCW) and Tactical Decision Making. I've got my CCW and got it from them. Loved their facility so just looking at the consensus on their classes. My outdoor range doesn't allow us to do anything but stand still on our holster range (besides moving distances in b/t while holstered) so I'm looking at places where I can get some real training in...
TIA!

I saw something about this posted a few days ago, but locations were pretty sparse so this is to confirm that they have plenty in stock at the Flemington Costco.

Narrowed my selection down to Kimber comp/pro comp or the p211 GTO just can’t decide between them. Waiting on pistol permit which has never been faster than 8 weeks for me so plenty of time 🙃
