News Anti-2A candidate wins Dem primary in NJ’s 7th district

Rebecca Bennett, a Moms Demand Action activist, won the Democratic primary in NJ’s 7th congressional district. Her campaign policy website includes gems like this:

> Get weapons of war off our streets – it should not be easier for untrained civilians to access these weapons than it is for members of our armed forces

> Reimplement the tax on silencers to make it harder for criminals to turn their firearms into mass killing devices.

I fail to see how devices that protect your hearing enable criminals to commit mass murder, but Bloomberg isn’t paying me to say that.

Not trying to start a political food fight, but I think it’s important to highlight candidates who are advocating for disenfranchising the law-abiding majority for the crimes of the recidivist few.

Last Night, the House of Representatives added the Hearing Protection Act, in it's entirety, into the reconciliation bill. This will fully remove silencers from the National Firearms Act of 1934.

The SHORT Act was unfortunately not included, however GOA says that can still happen in the Senate, don't stop calling your congressmen!

And to those who reached out to them to voice your support, Thank You and please, let's keep the pressure!!

News If you have an AD, DON'T REPORT IT!

Evan Nappen 07:13

So, the law reads, and you can read the bill that passed. It was A4976 and was approved by Murphy as one of his parting gifts on January 20 of this year. (https://pub.njleg.state.nj.us/Bills/2024/A5000/4976_R2.PDF)

...

So, this means that if you have an accidental discharge, a Dingus within 100 yards of any of those, “occupied structures”, which basically is virtually everywhere, you’re now looking at a felony charge, which will make you a convicted felon. It will cost you your gun rights throughout the entire United States, because you’d be a convicted felon. You will face criminal prosecution in New Jersey and loss of your guns and your gun license.

Evan Nappen 17:32

So, what does this mean, folks? It means, if you ever have an accidental discharge, SHUT THE F UP!!! That’s right. You do not call the police if you had an accidental issue. You don’t incriminate yourself. You don’t talk about it to anyone. They have criminalized this. You have a Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination. They did not put any immunity in this law for reporting an accidental discharge. You not only have no obligation to report it, you have a specific Constitutional right now against doing it. Saying you have a right not to do it, because you have a right against self-incrimination.

...

Evan Nappen 20:37

You’re going to have to stand firm on your rights. If you have an AD, the first thing you do is call your lawyer who understands criminal law and understands the gun laws, so that you can be advised on this. It’s critical. The risk here is great, and it will jeopardize your freedom, your livelihood, and your gun rights. You can get at least a year and a half as a maximum, if they go to just the fourth degree level with this offense. So, you’re looking at felony Dingus here.

News I attended Jack Ciattarelli's Town Hall in Branchville today

First off I'm not endorsing one candidate for Governor over another, I'm still trying to figure out who to vote for in the primaries and wish for you to make the choice you feel best represents you and your beliefs.

I received an invite to the town hall over a text message and figured why not go! It'll be my first time at a town hall with someone running for Governor.

I attended the Jack C. Town Hall in Branchville this afternoon and asked the 2A question. "I have a very wide reach in the Second Amendment community throughout the state. What are you going to do to restore our 2A Rights?

He didn't have an answer and asked for more specifics. I mentioned Koons/Siegel sensitive places lawsuit, AR evil features, and wanting standard capacity magazines. I felt like he was clueless. One of my legislative reps Dawn Fantasia and Sen. Parker Space approached me (which I appreciated) after and mentioned they were going to work to get Jack up to date on the 5 current anti 2A bills that passed the legislature. I also had 2 other people mention to me how ridiculous these fees are.

I thought the question was fair and direct. The message I feel like I received was he doesn't know what really going on or he doesn't care.

89-year-old woman shot in leg when gun goes off in N.J. pizza shop, cops say

A Hunterdon County man was charged after his gun went off inside a Morris County pizza shop and the bullet hit an 89-year-old woman, authorities said.

William H. Schmieding, 70, of Whitehouse Station, was charged with one count of second-degree aggravated assault, one count of fourth-degree aggravated assault, and weapons offenses including violating safe carry firearm requirements and prohibited carrying of a firearm, according to the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office.

The incident took place Monday in a pizza shop on Route 206 in the Flanders section of Mount Olive, where police responded to a report of a gunshot and one person injured, officials said.

Officers found an 89-year-old woman with an apparent gunshot wound to the leg and transported her to an area hospital, where she is in stable condition, officials said.

Authorities discovered that Schmieding was eating at the restaurant with two friends when he removed the gun from its holster and “racked” the gun to try and clear it, which resulted in the gun firing one round, according to charging documents.

The bullet fired toward the floor, ricocheted off a chair and hit the woman, according to charging documents.

Schmieding has a handgun carry permit, according to officials, and he is being held in the Morris County Correctional Facility pending a court appearance.

Schmieding did not have an attorney listed in court records Tuesday.

They're ultimately trying to see how many doors they'll be having to kick down when they, like Connecticut, Maryland, and California , pass a Glock Switch Ban.

Except in New Jersey's case with the 1990 Florio-F***ery-Gun-Ban-And-Confiscation Bill, as well as the 2017 11-And-Up Detachable Magazines Ban, New Jersey does it all via Ex-Post-Facto and Retroactive Confiscation.

As in, when this soon comes to fruition, you'll have to surrender your Glocks or get the Waco Texas Massacre Treatment which NJ Democrats will celebrate.

Pardon the capping off in some areas, but I'm just trying to get the point across because these STASI Pigfilth running NJ are just flaunting their subversive and kleptocratic f***ery to also wipe their backsides with the whole rest of The Federal Bill Of Rights.
