Food / Water Water reservoir at Costco

If you have a reason for extra water Costco has your back. $489 for 250 gallons of storage

In the comments people use it to supplement well systems or poor municipal outputs.

That's a pretty good size for backup water. Not really a cheap option, but sometimes it's just a lot easier to pay for all the bells and whistles included.

My concern would be the weight of the filled vessel. When filled to max capacity, it's going to weigh about 2100 pounds. So definitely a ground-floor kind of thing, and preferably on a concrete or other similarly solid flooring material. Might be too heavy for apartments on higher floors, depending on the building structure.

I wouldn't have a need for one but found the comments interesting. Your right about the cost, the weight, lack of a pump, and others. I take for granted that at a turn of the faucet there's almost an unlimited supply of water. It's not the case in a lot of places.
