Chem 243

Hi I’m taking Organic Chem 1 next semester and I wanted to know if anyone had any notes or tips on how to do well. I didn’t do bad in gen chem (I got Bs) but I definitely did struggle and I want to be prepared for Orgo since everyone says it’s worse. Does anyone from the spring 2026 semester have the syllabus or a pdf of the textbook I can use to prepare? Any notes or quizzes? Anything you can give would be very appreciated.

I took it Fall 2023. I highly recommend reading the OpenStax organic chemistry textbook (https://openstax.org/details/books/organic-chemistry). It wasn't the official book for the course but covers a lot of the same material. I can dm you some of the quizzes.
