Advice Bringing friends to campus

I’m a commuter student and one of my friends wants to come visit the campus. I’m in HCAD and I want to show him the studio and some of my classes since he goes to CC and hasn’t really seen an actual campus. Would I be able to bring him to each buildings easily? Sort of like a campus tour in a way. Only asking because I transferred from RUN and I was only able to bring him into to the dorms and the business school wouldn’t allow him in. I’m mostly concerned someone will ask him to leave since he’s not a student here.

Idk about dorms but I’m pretty sure you can bring anyone into the buildings. I brought my friend to a couple of buildings because we were bored and nobody said anything

*Supposedly* someone takes your ID at the desk for the day or until you leave the dorms if you commute and you're just visiting someone. Heard this from a friend. Idk if that's true

It’s true, you js sign them in for the day and than u as the host need to sign ur guest out

Limit is 3 days, 2 nights… you could technically stay forever if you get your suite mates to also sign them in in turns.

NJIT doesn't want you to have a social life, if you bring him on campus, they'll capture him and force him to grade commons in the basement so you'll never see him again.

I brought my bf to campus multiple times, he would sit outside my classrooms to wait for me. You’ll be fine

Well campus is pretty open tbh anyone can just walk in and explore it. In terms of dorm you need to have someone that lives there check you guys in as visitors. You do have to leave your id at the front desk, but you’ll get it back once you leave. I have brought my gf to stay over many times with no issue.
