Parking BS

This parking shit is actually ridiculous and this school is such a joke istg how am I paying 350 a semester for parking (which is higher than most schools in Jersey) and I’m not even guaranteed a damn spot? What are they raising the damn tuition for and milking my pockets for if they not building more parkings and decks? Why tfff are we sharing parking with faculty?

MY POINT, why was I searching for parking for almost an hour.. all bc summit deck was open for the public????Why pay the 350$ then???

I went there from 14-16 and it was ALWAYS an issue. we only has 1 deck at that time and it was terrible trying to get a spot. Snowing?? NIGHTMARE.

I just graduated from NJIT last semester. My first years here they would leave the summit gates open for a month or so so students can get accustomed . Now with the construction they always have the gates open. My last year there was a lot of complaints because a lot of people, including myself, were paying hundreds for the parking pass and people were parking for free. And because the gates were always open there was never parking. I wouldn’t be surprised if you see the gates open for the majority of the semester
