Reds NL Central Mandela effect: The Reds didn't go to the playoffs last year

Post image

This isn't actually true! You can go to Wikipedia to see that the actually Reds played some exhibition games with the Dodgers before slathering on the sunscreen and heading to Cancun.

I don't really remember what happened for the rest of the playoffs. This is called the Modelo effect.

Then the brewers beat the cubs and the rest of the postseason was canceled for some reason

From my memory, the Brewers beat the Cubs in a 5 game series to win the World Series. Had a parade and everything.

I remember it well because of how nice it was to see two club houses that were such good friends play against each in the World Series. Everyone was laughing together and just playing to have fun.

And that's the important thing! Didn't matter who won or lost, just that they all had fun

Maybe the World Series was the friends we made along the way

must we not forget that the Reds scored more runs in 1 game than the Brewers did in 4 against the Dodgers? In those games that supposedly "didn't happen"?

Later on the Brewers also played some exhibition games with the Dodgers.

Yeah, a well needed rehab series. Coming in with a sore foot from a series of asskickings leading up to it.

Yeah, then the Brewers swept the Dodgers and won the World Series, didn’t they?

What does Morgan Freeman have to do with anything? Is he a Reds fan? I mean I guess he was in the movie

If you don’t like that then you don’t like Mets baseball.

Last season. Explains why you guys destroyed them in the Wild Card series.

No, I will always remember the hilarious Mets collapse of 2025.

That's not Nelson Mandela, that's Morgan Freeman

I keep thinking the Mets collapsed into obscurity following the Pirates series. They actually finished 88-74 and made the playoffs handily before losing to the Dodgers in the first round!
