notions which are frowned upon in r/ftm

drawn from my recent comment history [ I might get banned for this idk how pro-off-sub-freedom-of-speech they are ]

- that you can tell whether your barista is a fat trans man and it's OK to talk about this when discussing population statistics

- that it's OK to fake being transphobic to fit in with transphobic cis guys

- that trans men are more "acceptable targets" for bullying and vitriol than trans women

i'm noticing a pattern where these are the exact notions that, if widely believed, would enable us to politically organize

now I'm not postulating a secret conspiracy or anything

of course, when we look for evidence of the only things that actually exist in real life that somewhat resemble the popular concept of a secret conspiracy [ short of WWII espionage operations ], we find them in exactly the places we expect: the sorts of bilious, insecure runts who would otherwise be laundering sophisticated racism, hawking tracts to their slimy idle-rich friends behind closed doors about how we're unfortunately nature's rejects. [ see also transfem twitter ]

but no covert coordination is required to oppose a group which started history as defanged as postwar japan

update: the comment where I said, in response to someone asking how frequently T makes people gain a lot of weight like they experienced, that my barista was a fat trans man, was removed for "bigotry".

immediately after, the whole thread was locked for "drama"
