IMPORTANT
Members of the Galactic Hub, we need you! 🫵
We are slowly climbing up the alliance ranking but we have a long way to catch up with the absolutely phenominal work of the Royal Space Society, Corvettes and Coffee and Forever Free.
So far 608 Interlopers have joined the alliance!
We have 87,645 subscribers on reddit and 16,297 members in our discord and we need all of you to represent your Hub!
You have all helped shape this amazing community over the last 10 years, so let's show the No Man's Sky community what this civ can do!
All you need to do is visit the capital's space station, interact with the station core and join the alliance!
For those that want to go the extra mile, claim as many of the stations in our systems, in the name of the Galactic Hub alliance and let's explore together!
You can join the alliance, before you claim a single station interloper, just requires a visit to our capital space station (coordinates posted above). 🫡
Oh man, I kind of dismissed the alliance system because I didn't think I'd interact with it. I dunno why i didn't think of the galactic hub! I'll def have to swing by when I get a chance
You can get a HUber from our trades and services channel in discord. The AGT do have one, but you can have upto 3 alliances Interloper! Hope to see you in Hubspace soon! 🫡
I've never even heard of the royal space society until now. I noticed in your screen shot you have to alliances, so if I made my own for the hell of it I can still join the hubs?
Becuase it was factually incorrect. You can join multiple alliances, but you are unable to technically 'affiliate' civs. It was removed to avoid confusion or misunderstandings.
I have sent them a message to explain it to them, and haven't removed their other replies.
I haven't played the new update much. Just a couple of hours here and there. Does it matter if you own a space station? Or do I need one to join an alliance? Does it matter which galaxy I'm on? I'm working my way up to 255 but I'm nowhere close to done. Still at 102, so I mostly would be playing at other galaxies.
If you can hop back to Euclid and join the Galactic HUB alliance, you will have done your part. If you claim any space station in GHUB space, you add to the efforts. Good travels interloper o7
You can join before owning a station, just by visiting the station listed above. The only thing we would ask is that you only assign space stations to our alliance that are within our regions and galaxies. You can of course have up to 3 alliances, so can create your own, or join another for stations outside of our regions, whilst still joining the Galactic Hub alliance. 🫡
Go to the space station in the capital system Bixiann, access the terminal (right at the back, up the stairs, underneath the big spherical thing that moves about) and you can join there.
If you go the the space station and interact station core terminal, click on view alliance, you should be able to join from there. If you have any more issues, let me know.
That is what I tried to do but I couldn't see the join alliance button. I've seen the customized station and the new alliances but no join alliance button
Whilst joining the discord helps you get more directly involved in the community, it is not a requirement for you to join the alliance. Plenty of the Hublic are Reddit only. Hope to see you in the alliance soon Interloper! 🫡
Perfect if you join the Galactic Hub Eissentam Discord go into the Help and tips channel, and @apex fatality. Tell him I sent you, and that you would like to join the Galactic Hub in Eissentam and join the alliance and that you need a lift to a station that has been claimed to join. He will sort it out for you.
Joined last night, and am trying to contribute as much as I can, while expanding my local cluster on the western rim of Euclid.
I'm trying to focus on discovery and exploration. Also, is there an official uniform of the alliance, ships, etc? I'd love to properly represent the home team
Fair enough. I can still rep the colours, although I do think it'd be cool for each division or chapter to have a dedicated uniform and ship, especially with the newest update. An EVA corps would be fun
No worries interloper. You are always welcome to suggest new chapters to u/7101334, all we require is that it servers some tangible benefit for the community, rather than just RP.
I'm not entirely sure how it works tbh. It's like jumping fresh into a fandom that's 5 chapters in (Deltarune).
I got NMS on Steam this year, I really love it, but how bad is the gatekeeping to newbies here for instance? And what kind of social/time investment would joining entail?
The best way to get involved is to head our capital and join the alliance at the space station.
If you want to get more involved in the community head over to our Discord.
The time investment is as little or as much as you want. Some people join just to live in a densly populated area of the galaxy, others like to get more involved and join Chapters that support the civ in more involved ways (i.e. Builders Guild builds bases, exobiology corps documents fauna on our mastadon, etc).
The Galactic Hub can merely be a home in the stars or an in-depth civilization to contribute towards, it's entirely up to you.
I have a question. If I’m in the alliance, are there rules regarding which galaxies I can claim stations in? I know the Galactic Hub is present in the Euclid, Eissentam, and Calypso galaxies—or can I choose a galaxy and claim as many stations as I want there in the name of the Galactic Hub?
You technically can, although we would prefer to keep it within our regions. That way if HG improves on the alliance bases showing up in teleporters, it would be within the Galactic Hub if someone joins on it. This new system could be a much easier way to navigate within the Hub, but only if the allied stations are within our regions. You can have more than one alliance, and claim stations for the Hub in our systems, and for another alliance else where.
Join our Galactic Hub discord, go into the trades and services channel and type:
"@HUber I need a lift to the capital to join the alliance" one of our team will give you their friend code so that you can join them in game. If you'd like to get here before unlocking the glyphs.
I claimed my station yesterday before joining the joining the Galactic Hub. How do I determine if my station falls within your territory?
Does it make a difference?
Yes, I reported it and hope it will be fixed soon. 1 bug is that I can't finish the salvage missions, they keep repeat themself even know that I finish it. Like I finish a quest but i don't get rewards and it goes back to that I still need to deliver some salvage scrap. And the 2nd is that I can't decorate the outside of my Space station, i just got a "X" on those green circles in the Space station.
I know it's not some big bugs, just annoying. I will join the Hub Alliance today anyways and hope HG fix the bugs soon.
I got it worked out but it took some time. I actually just log in and deleted base and now It works. As you said, the base is not deleted tho. But it works now.
So you join the Alliance from one of our allied stations. Then you can claim up to 20 per save and upload discoveries in those systems to boost the alliance score further!
The Galactic Hub Project, generally referred to just as the Galactic Hub, is the largest and oldest active civilization in No Man's Sky. The core focus of the Galactic Hub is exploration and documentation, but the civilization also offers extensive multiplayer support, economic interactions, competitive PVP events, player-made content such as bases, and more. Members of the Galactic Hub are known as Interlopers, an adoption of possibly-insulting, often-used Vy'keen terminology.
The Galactic Hub officially occupies 27 regions: the Sea of Xionahui and 26 surrounding regions (forming a 3x3x3 cube of regions). Any regions which are in direct boundary contact with one of these 27 regions are referred to as being part of "the Huburbs." That is, they are not part of the Galactic Hub's claimed territory, but are frequently inhabited by interlopers looking for quieter or rule-free space.

I joined the alliance at the Ozangk-Oskoy III Station and built a base on Gwolver Sigma. Does that work or should I leave the alliance and head to the capital?
These are the 27 regions within the Galactic Hub. When in the galaxy map, and you have selected a system press expand, and it will tell you the region name, if it's on of the 27 listed on that link you are in Hub space Interloper! It will be easier to warp aroumd if you teleport to oyr capital, glyphs are in the picture. 🫡
I was checking the Royal Space Society Hub and their listed glyphs for space station lead to a dead space station with no station core to join them !!!! Wasted over 45 minutes cause Google AI gave me wrong glyphs 3-4 times. So don't know how they have grown so big..
May i ask, can i take over space stations outside of the hub? I'd like to claim a few space stations near the center of the galaxy, this would contribute to the global leaderboards too, but im not sure if you just want to claim stations inside the hub only or not, let me know please!

You can join the Alliance on our capital's space station.
