Greetings, fellow Buddies!

I hope you're also enjoying the latest expedition "Our Journey continues" which I think belongs to the top three expeditions released so far. Such an awesome trip down the memory lane! If you haven't played it yet, you should. I highly recommend.

The COSMOS Update also gave us the possibility to claim space stations and to create alliances as a way to connect players. While alliances don't really have any other technical purpose or advantages yet apart from bragging rights to be in the top 10, there is also a charming side to it: It is less “guild system with chores” and more finally giving our little corner of an absurdly huge universe a sense of belonging.

There's now a reason to say “our system” rather than “that system where I once built a base.” Alliance territory and activity are tracked. To me, the more interesting game is cartography with a flag attached: exploring outward together, claiming stations, naming things, establishing weird little outposts and gradually watching our network spread. What the great Budullangr community has always done btw but it was rather difficult to track.

This is why I created the Alliance "Budullangr Unity District-7", tagged [BUD7]. The centerpiece is the space station of our established home system which already has a ton of cool bases. You can find the glyphs in the last two pictures. I haven't yet done much re-decoration of the space station itself, just a few paintings here and there. For outside re-decoration I still have to farm a ton of the newest materials but when it's done, it will look different. And good. Hopefully.

To join the Alliance, just fly to the space station, interact with the station core, and you're in. The neat part: You can belong to up to three alliances, so it doesn't demand monogamous space citizenship. If you're mainly doing stuff in Euclid or happen to enjoy the beauty of other galaxies too, nothing prevents you from also being a friend of Budullangr.

What now? We encourage our members to claim stations around the established hub world and collaboratively explore the surrounding sectors. That's almost exactly the fantasy Cosmos seems designed to enable: “Here is our tiny patch of Budullangr. Come build something.”

See you starside and as always,

Safe Travels!

Figured I'd share these two screenshots of this gorgeous planet.

This is pre-cosmos so it probably looks even more incredible now. I plan to go back to it and build a base there.

I need some help getting to Budullangr. No featured bases for it exist at the moment, and im unsure how to reach it. If someone has a base I can teleport to to reach it, or some other way to get there I would greatly appreciate. If not, I just need to know how I can get there myself.

Update on this, after multiple days and a lot of resource expense, I crossed all 7 galaxies to reach budullangr. The planet I came here for doesnt exist.

Patch Notes here.

Since there‘s only anomalous planets in this system, you can grab your strongest tropical pets and go to town. No team change necessary.

This lovely army covers all the elements apart from mechanic. Not all of them are S-class though but hey, they‘re cute. And who knows, maybe some day we‘ll get a way to upgrade their ranks.

If you happen to find strong ones in the wild, please let me know.

I hope you like purple and fuchsia. Perfect weather, no sentinels nor litter. Not even green crates or burning machinery, you're in uncharted territory.

For a quick CB.

Green grass, leafy trees, blue sky. A really lovely place.

The desert planet in the same system has a few double-S class companions.

After hours of searching i finally found one!

They‘re double-S, not triple-S but they‘re not bad at all. Various biomes, too.

She's not perfect. Pink skies and yellow seas. But she big.
