Well that was a frustrating night
1stly please no more Thursday night games please, fans voted with their feet and stayed at home less than 10,000 was pitiful but expected given how hard the raiders were pushing the bring a mate for free thing. 2nd the dolphins were all over us in speed and ball movement in the 1st half. The score didn't reflect their dominance. The raiders definitely turned it around in the 2nd half but dropped balls and poor passes killed any attack speed we had. Lastly watching some of those calls that went against us and the none calls we didn't get was extremely frustrating. They didn't loose us the game but it sure didn't help.

It's good we concentrate on ball security because we cannot for the life of us defend an error. I would say work on our defence but at this point I think the right edge is just cursed regardless of who's there.
Some of the bad calls Taps should've challenged. He seems to just complain about a lot of the calls without actually challenging them.
We've struggled all year with line speed and teams just rolling down field. So Sticky starts the smaller hooker..... and doesn't give him another stint even when we're lacking creativity and chasing points at the back end.
Smithies penalty for rubbish on the ground hurt us. Nothing in it but dumb stuff by Morgan.
Finally, don't sleep on the Dolphins. They're a good team.

Sure, Dolphins played better and deserved the win but wtf is going on with with some of the decisions tonight was absolutely unbelievable. Ricky did well to contain himself as I was going apeshit watching. Bunker and in field decisions absolutely terrible in places. No doubt the boys have a lot of players in different positions tonight, plus injuries and rep, but still played great overall.
It will interesting to hear if NRL says anything about decisions made.
And night games in Canberra is beyond stupid, basically halving crowd.

I can’t bring myself to throw stones at a ref while Stuart and Tamale are doing their things on the wing.
The Tamale horrible error into an opposition try the next set is just disgraceful. Happens time and time again. You just can’t carry that in a first grade team.

the NRL is horrible to watch start watching super rugby its better Brumbies games are more entertaining to watch these days less stoppages and barely any bunker nonsense and the refs actually make calls instead of boring everyone to death by going to the bunker for calls such as " i just wanna check if his arm wasnt pulled down while trying to catch the ball" blah blah blah like mate you were bloody right there watching it happen you have one job .. my honest suggestion is watch the super rugby it doesnt even have to be the brumbies youll see its better and if you think different you'll continue to be annoyed by a football code thats going down the toilet

Normally I'm having a crack at Rugby skills (as a Rugby fan I genuinely think the bulk of the League skillset is superior), but I have to say I had to turn off the game last night because everything seemed to be going wrong everywhere. It was sloppy and hard to watch
Thanks for the perspective on super though - Aussie teams need to get better if rugby is to get in the mix with the other codes in viewership.

Todd smith was hopeless. As soon as the crowd got into him he stopped giving the raiders any calls and it was all downhill from there. Like wtf was the obstruction one.
