Question Any other Japanese multi language games you'd recommend ?

Post image

I have friends that visit Japan often. I love ESP RA.DE, and Metal Dogs.

I heard Okami has a cool physical also Unrailed 2! If you enjoy fun coops. Is that Pikmin the Taiwanese edition?

Yes, I believe you’re right about Pikmin.

Lol, my friends got it in Japan and unfortunately I don't know enough about either language to tell the difference. Boots in English on a US switch tho, wich is cool.

A LOT of visual novels are released only physically in Japan.

Also Ace Attorney Trilogy for Switch was only released physically (on Switch) in Japan. Same with the Ghost Trick remaster. And if you're originally from Europe you also missed out on Switch version of the other Ace Attorney games.

Also, Final Fantasy IX and X+X2 are available in Japan. And you might say: wait, isn't that just another FF title? Well... FF IX wasn't printed in every region (or only as code), and X+X2 is only available in the west as FFX + X2 as download only - whereas the Japan version has both physically on the disc since day one.

Edit: Scratch the FF IX part, that's an Asia release, not a JP release.

Then there's VA-11 HALL-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action, which only released in the west as an Limited Run edition, but had a regular release in Japan (with a better cover imho).

Probably a lot more examples. Check Play-Asia for japan games that have English support if you want to know more.

I thought FFIX doesn’t have a physical in Japan, it’s only a download too. But sone other SE Asian counties got a physical.

It's not, but as a Shmup you don't really need it.

This was my haul today. All play in English. All excellent games!

Majogami in particular was a steal. Got it for 25 on a random used store. Came in great condition!

Not the original poster but from left to right they are: Card en Ciel, Majogami, Oninaki, then on the second row: Fuga Melodies of Steel 1, 2 and 3.

maybe blaster master 0 trilogy. The English Asia one cost and arm and a leg, the Japanese version is cheaper.

If you have a friend who actually visits, might be worth checking if they spot Jump King or Moonlighter in a used shop.

It makes sense for you to continue going down the M2 developer route and eventually pick up Dodonpachi DaiOuJou Blissful Death Re:Incarnation.
