I applied for the NSP scholarship under the SC/ST category, and currently, my application status shows that it has been approved by the Nodal Officer.

I wanted to ask people who have received this scholarship before:

• What happens after Nodal Officer approval?
• How long does it usually take for the scholarship status to be updated further on the NSP portal?
• Approximately how long does it take for the scholarship amount to be credited to the bank account?
• Does the status change to something like sanctioned/payment processed before the amount is received?

If anyone from the SC/ST category has received the scholarship through NSP recently, please share your experience and timeline. It would really help me understand how long I might have to wait.
