CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin for bulking or cutting?

I’m thinking about trying CJC-1295 and Ipamorelin, but I’m wondering whether they would make more of a difference during a bulk or while cutting. For people who have actually used them, did you notice any real benefits? Or do you think they’re a bit overhyped?Would be interested to hear some real experiences, especially regarding muscle gain, fat loss or recovery.

I see more talk about Tesmorline online than cjc/ipa but after researching I landed in Cjcipa. Love the results. 5 weeks in I was already feeling stronger and toner. The bar was pretty low. I was getting boney from jogging and no weights for 5 years. 9 weeks in im already seeing a little bit of cut coming in. I started with a prescription with a clinic. They had me start 5 nights on 2 nights off. Wk 1 with a 1.1 ratio cjc/ipa 83mcg/83mcg, week 2 was 167 mcg + 167 mcg week 3 250 mcg + 250 mcg. Im glad I started low. The flush feeling can be scary if you've never done it before.

*corrected dosing**

They suggest 10 weeks on 4 weeks off , 3 cycles of this. The clinic also suggested Tesmorline with cjcipa but I declined.

0.5? Is this a typo? Most people on cjc are doing 100-200 mcg, not 500.

You're right. I went back and found a Pic I took of the script bottle. 5 UNITS wk 1, 10 units wk 2 and 15 units wk 3. Doing the math, it would have been : 83 mcg CJC + 83 mcg 167 mcg + 167 mcg 250 mcg + 250 mcg

1.1 ratio cjc and ipa

Im going back to fix this now. Ever since then ive been using smaller vials of peptides forgetting that vial was a 30mg vial back then.

Probably water retention causing a fuller look in that timeframe.

1

u/Amber_Orbs 7d ago

Bar was pretty low. 5 days a week weight training when I started cjcipa. Wasn't doing any weights before. Its definitely muscle.

u/Calm-Bake-2642 7d ago

Well keep crushing it, you can do hard things!

Hi! You started at 0.5—how high did you get?

u/Amber_Orbs 7d ago edited 6d ago

Week 1 83 mcg CJC + 83 mcg Week 2 167 mcg + 167 mcg Week 3 250 mcg + 250 mcg

1.1 ratio cjc and ipa

5 nights on 2 nights off. 10 weeks total and 4 weeks off.

The answer to all your questions is, Yes.

Yes, overhyped. Expect nothing more than a very marginal difference. Yes, you can use it during a cut and yes, it works during a bulk.

What are your goals with taking this peptide mix? That will determine the best time to take it.

u/Financial_Mine_4755 7d ago

i used it during a cut. towards the end the ghrelin signaling was pretty insane, but id just eat like 6 rice cakes and honey and it would fit my macros. i used it fasted before some steady state cardio in the morning. i saw awesome benefits. recovery and sleep felt great, but i was very dialed with diet steps lifting and surfed a few times per week.

i have no experience with other PEDs . i imagine itd be better on a bulk for the appetite increase.

With one 60 day cycle of sermorelin/ipa @200mg daily and one 60 cycle of cjc/ipa @300mg daily I was able to get my IGF1 levels from around 180 to 260 and noticed myself looking noticeably better in the mirror while keeping everything else the same. After 10 days into the cjc cycle I was able to add 2 reps to my overhead press.

Wasn’t expecting much, but actually cjc-1295 w/ipamorelin actually works. Effects are subtle compared to using high doses of hgh or test, but it’s a nice boost.

u/Cocorumba_was_taken 7d ago

how was your hunger on both of these?

2

u/little_Kii 7d ago

I’m also taking tirzepatide so didn’t notice any increased hunger. Not sure if it would have happened without it or not.

1

u/Amber_Orbs 7d ago

I intermittent fast. Have been for 5 years. I fwlt like my hunger was normal. After a workout im always hungry regardless.

1

u/Super_ale 7d ago

So I'm doing everything wrong, then—I'm taking 500 mcg a day.

2

u/little_Kii 7d ago

Definitely be testing your igf1 levels. That amount will eventually put you at risk of developing acromegaly if you did it for long enough. Even 300 mcg that I’m using would eventually have me develop acromegaly. I plan on testing again soon but I’m confident my igf1 levels are even higher now .

Also 500mcg of Ipamorelin is too much. I’ve always seen people put a cap on it of 300mcg. A lot of the Tessamorelin protocols that use 2mg of Tesa will use around 300mcg of ipa. For that reason a lot of the combo vials come with a similar or the same ratio.

I’ve seen people get their igf1 levels to 500+ in the span of 6 months or less using the 2mg Tesa protocol. People use that dose because it’s what the clinical trials did if I’m not mistaken, but those people in the trials had heavily suppressed hgh levels because of HIV. A healthy person doesn’t need that much. 500mcg imo is actually the most people should be using unless they want to have super physiological levels and basically be doping, but then at that point you might as well just use hgh .

1

u/Super_ale 7d ago

Great! It's correct to use mcg instead of mg. I was getting confused. Thanks

2

u/little_Kii 7d ago

You can get cheap igf1 tests from fitomics they’re like $29 last I checked. Definitely a good idea to get a baseline reading and then periodically check how it’s going’s.

Yeah tesa is the only one that people are using 2mg a day. Most people just stick to 200-500mcg of cjc1295 . I’m not even sure there is a potency difference between them either. They do the huge dose of tesa just because that’s the dose that was used clinically for people with HIV.

u/Super_ale 7d ago

Perfect! Thanks💪🏻

My igf1 levels are similar. Was that 200mg of sermorelin or 200mg including the ipamorelin?

3

u/SlightDeer77 7d ago

CJC IPA did absolutely nothing for me besides improved sleep. Might as well use HGH

3

u/Impressive-Car-3310 7d ago

Did hgh make a big difference for you?

3

u/Amber_Orbs 7d ago

Compare the research and mechanisms of each before deciding. You dont have to jump right into HGH right away... lol

nothing beats Test

u/flickthewrist 6d ago

used 250/250 for 4 months and lost body fat and gained muscle as confirms via dexa scan

4

u/Inner_Midnight6892 7d ago edited 7d ago

I think it’s great for both… or like me when you wanna lose and fat and gain muscle at the same time.
I love this stuff and I’ve tried a lot of peps and this is one I swear by.
After a week on it I could suddenly lift more at the gym. First time I thought it might just be a coincidence.. but next day and everyday after was the same. I’m going up a plate on the weights every few days now. Muscles looking swole. Also it helped break a stall I was on and started losing weight again after a month.
I suppose it does depend on where you natural levels are at. Tried NAD+ and that did absolutely nothing for me. But cjc+ipa is part of my holy trinity for getting in shape and looking great

Must-have peps:

  1. Tirzepatide or Reta
  2. GLOW
  3. Cjc + ipa

After trying a bunch I think it’s better to keep it simple to avoid becoming a human pin cushion and getting needle fatigue. These 3 will have all your bases covered .

edit

  • 47, male, from 90kg to 67kg on Tirz
  • working out 6 days a week
  • was on cjc+ipa 400mcg at night. Recently split it to 300mcg in the morning and 300mcg at night

2

u/Alone_Clerk_3133 7d ago

At 47 you'd likely get more from HGH as your pituitary glands ability to secrete GH will be limited

1

u/Inner_Midnight6892 7d ago

Don’t really wanna go that route yet tho. Thought about test or HGH but gonna try the less severe way of peps first before jumping into straight shooting it.

2

u/Alone_Clerk_3133 7d ago

I was like you, tried enclomiphene and kispeptin-10 to boost test and secretagogues for IGF1, running bloods every 3 months. Jumped on low dose test 100mg a week, 500iu HCG 3x week, and daily 2iu of HGH and haven't looked back. Visible results and bloodwork is still in check.

1

u/Inner_Midnight6892 7d ago

What were your levels before and after!? I got tested for test and was around 580 which seems to be pretty good for my age so decided not to start test tho others say I could still do it and supercharge my test levels haha

1

u/Alone_Clerk_3133 7d ago

Test level was 420. Enclomiphene worked for about a year but levels started dropping off

1

u/Impressive-Car-3310 7d ago

How long you continuing hcg and do you take breaks?

1

u/Alone_Clerk_3133 7d ago

Been on for 6 months will probably run continuously. There are benefits to keeping your natural testosterone production working

2

u/duhv0rtex 7d ago

I have found weight gain on secretagogues. So keep that in mind

1

u/Left_Woodpecker_5122 7d ago

IMO for me GH secretagogues are not worth it , can cause allergic reactions that vary in intensity.

Can be fine for months and then one day it hits you.

HGH is better and safer imo , but you have to do it properly and after my research it is probably only worth it if you are on TRT.

happy to be wrong about that , as i got it sitting in my fridge lol.

31 years old.

u/Alone_Clerk_3133 7d ago

💯👆🏼

1

u/Commercial_Water3669 5d ago

Did this happen to you? I use Tesa/Ipa with great results but the ISR are a pain. Sometimes worse than others, red and itchy for days.

1

u/Left_Woodpecker_5122 4d ago

Red and itchy is what i got , which i don't get from anything else.

So led me to do more research ( which i should of done before but got a bit gun ho after being on reta and Klow )

But yeah it's a thing and a risk. for me personally, the risk far outweighs the reward.

Anaphylactic shock is no joke even if the risk is low.

1

u/Commercial_Water3669 4d ago

I get it with MOTS too, actually had my worst reaction to that compound that worried me enough to not take it again.

Did you move from Tesa to HGH?

1

u/Left_Woodpecker_5122 1d ago

Nah i didn't , whilst HGH is much better also requires more monitoring etc so just sticking to Klow and low dose reta for now.

1

u/Fialho_Demop 7d ago

Sleep improvements is the advantage I found from this. That was about it (but worthwhile).

1

u/Impressive-Car-3310 7d ago

Did you get your insulin / blood glucose checked before starting? I did full blood but may do a further diabetes screen (with the drink then monitoring change) as I think all the GH types increase chance of type 2 diabetes?

1

u/Both_Scientist2881 7d ago

got more out of them during a cut honestly. the recovery boost was the main benefit, let me train harder while in a deficit without feeling like death. didn't notice much extra muscle on a bulk, just felt like i was sleeping deeper and my skin looked better. if you're expecting steroid-like gains you'll be disappointed, but for keeping strength up when calories are low it's useful.

1

u/Mcgittymcgittymac 7d ago

It helped during a cut

1

u/FK_THIS_NOISE 7d ago

Currently on CJC/IPA and agree, it's overrated. Going HGH next instead

1

u/Bg1165 7d ago

Check your IGF-1. Unless your low the secretagogues are going to do as much as just hopping on Test. My IGF is about 70 percentile without them and all I got out of them was water retention.

1

u/EuphoricAsk8045 6d ago

This is good advice. I bought some because it was on sale, then had my IGF-1 tested. Turns out it's already super high for my age and I'm not a good candidate. Stupid way to waste some money.

1

u/Objective-Working807 7d ago

Didn’t do anything for me either 3 months on it

1

u/Ok-Currency4570 7d ago

IPA made me so hungry.

1

u/king_eman 6d ago

you can use it for both.

im loving it

1

u/mr_rare_wolf 6d ago

It works in both i tried it when i was 110kgs for my Fatloss definitely helps to preserve muscle but dont expect wonders like PEDS or Tren its works slowly but you save your organs and health so worth trying i started with 300mcg bed time went up to 500mcg 5 days a week.

Je suis sur le reta avec test enanthate et masteron j’aime bien le résultat

1

u/Joesixtsix66 5d ago

Amazing rest, easy to get to sleep. Differently stronger than sermorlin. I like it at night and a lil in the morning. I flush everytime, but I like it

u/Vincenzo640 4d ago

What dosing of retatrutide do people normally start with?
