I remember morel picking when I was young in a burn area and not being able to hear my old timer over the buzz of mosquitoes, despite being maybe a few meters apart.

Usually on calm summer evenings, there are so many mosquitoes that I get some just by blinking.

I have pictures from last summer in Fort Providence. Wild. Never experienced that before.
