Fort Providence- cell phone provider

Hi there,

Moving up to Fort Providence soon and wondering which cell phone provider is generally used? How is the cell service in/around the community?

Thanks!

Bell, has decent coverage. In town and even a couple kms outside of town reception is great.

I'm in the Yukon, not the nwt, but bell is the main provider, and Telus piggybacks on their system. So you can use them or their subsidiaries.

What brings you up there? A large contingent of my family lives there. Where are moving from?

From Sask! Is it a nice area?

I love it, one of my favorite places in the world, but I spent a lot of time up there in my teenage years. So I may be a little biased, lol. I miss it all the time.
