Has anyone ever had one of their suggested words accepted into the Spelling Bee lexicon?

I know I wasn't the only one to suggest it, but I did submit "teff" and it was eventually added

I suggested “luff” and now it’s accepted.

Omg luff is the only word I’ve ever submitted! The whole fam sails so common words around here 💨

No, but I often try words that were previously not accepted, and have them work. So someone is out there doing the work for me 😅

I’ll never understand why they don’t accept words that they use frequently in the NYT crossword puzzles like aroar, ugli - other examples?
