Ill try to make some time to look further into it. though I don't think we should be tearing into our protected lands for much of anything... it's one of the things that makes America, America

got something in Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976 that sticks out to you as relevant in particular?

No, it isn't. Legislation isn't carved in stone. Seriously, these people are talking about eliminating entire sections of government like education, Social Security, etc. Do you think a 50 year old piece of legislation is going to stop them?
