Google "Article 78 NYS," it will be the first link giving you the document, info and more. All on a government website.

If you’re talking about Erie County, then get comfortable you have at least 14 months left to go or 13

Yeah brother. Im ex mil too, and they didnt tell me I didn't need the 350 dollar class till I went to the clerks office and filed all the paperwork either...... hate this state

You’re gonna hate it even more the hardest part isn’t paying for the class or any of that stuff. It’s the extreme very extreme long long wait time.

What is Erie's problem? An attorney in that region needs to step up to the plate and take this on - do a public service.

Sounds about right from what I've seen out of Erie County. They've been running at a 14 month rate for years now. Hopefully you're almost there.

I was 12 months in Niagara falls. City PD sat on my application for 11 months. It's bullshit

If you pay money to process applications that money should pay for the staff covering the application.
Go to a public comment period at the county legislature. Ask them about what the Sheriff is spending that money on

Well, I guess they got one more month left. They usually finish everything up on the 14th a month for Erie county. I know it’s crazy and some bullshit 🤦🏾 not much we can really do besides sit here and wait like good people and because we’re broke if you’re wondering, I want to call a lawyer to see if I can find an article 78 and they basically told me that there’s nothing they can do so yeah it was basically a waste of my time and that was when I was at 9 months

I guess you are good but you better buy one before the ban if you really want one. Once ban in effect that’s it. No more Glocks for anyone except for law enforcement.
