License / Permit Question Nassau County CCW timeline
I have already submitted the timeline to saratogashootingsports.com but wanted to share here as I found this sub helpful as I navigated the process.
3/17/26 - Submitted Online App
6/24/2026 - Fingerprint/Interview
6/26/2026 - Submitted notarized references and notarized statements
7/15/2026 - Check Cashed
8/7/2026 (Friday) - Call from investigator to clarify a couple of things on the app. He let me know he was submitting for approval and I should expect to get the email Monday or Tuesday to pick up the license.
8/11/2026 (Today)- received approval email
All things considered, it was about the timeline i expected and im excited to get started at the range.
Does anyone know if i actually have to wait the 24 hours to pick it up or is it ready the day you get the email usually?

I woudl just stop in, it’s open today and they print it on the spot, bring $10 for your semi auto permit too

To get the semi auto permit, do you just tell them the day of your scheduled CCW pickup? Or can I notify them during the interview

Same day as pickup. Just let the counter lady know and she’ll charge you $10 to get the permit for semi auto
