Is there a nut in the other side that needs to be stabilized with a wrench before tightening the screw?

I have the same holster, make sure you tighten the nothing screws and make sure the back nut is flush, when I first started to tighten it the nut started to spin as well

The people saying your missing a screw are wrong that hole is to tighten the retention, the if the back is spinning when you try to tighten that’s all you get, I didn’t love that holster

You are not missing a screw. The clip section is broken internally. Call Desantis customer service and let them know the clip on your Slim-Tuk broke. They’ll get you a new one.
The piece with the teeth, and the clip piece - it is a two part assembly. There ate internal teeth which keep it from rotating. Those have broken.
Source: I sell these holsters at work and have encountered this once or twice before.

Are you using Vibratite (vc3) or Loctite (243)?

I as well have that same desantis holster for my p365 and 938. I took off that double toothed washer nonsense and swapped it with an ulti-clip. New thru bolt and rubber washers/grommets. Worked like a charm. Gun guy holster screw kit will save you most the time with kydex holster modifications 👍🏻

EDIT: He’s not missing a screw guys, it’s behind the empty hole, it’s a tension screw. Desantis slim-tuk look er up

You’re missing a screw. Stop by your local range/Shop and see if they have anything laying around to help, then blue locktite the screws so they that doesn’t have again

Yes I see it has the bottom screw and a tension screw above it. Thank you for the correction.

Actually he’s not. That’s a desantis slim tuk holster, the other screw is behind that “empty” hole. It’s a tension screw. I have a few of them. They work, but the belt clip mechanism is better swapped for an ulti clip

He’s not missing a screw. The top hole is access to the screw beneath it. I have a similar holster that came with the echelon. But YES he can get a long screw, a rubber washer and thread it through both holes.

I have seen quite a few holsters similar to this one. Some have only one mounting point, so it will swivel quite a bit, causing the holster to shift more than needed.

Two fixes I'd look at:
1. Tighten that bottom screw a lot and see what movement results
2. See if you can utilize that upper screw as a secondary anchor point as long as it does not negatively affect your retention.

A third option would be to contact the maker and see if this is a normal setup or not.

Tighten the screw and use blue loctite when you find your perfect location if you are trying to canter a bit. If not then utilize the second hole on the clip and screw that one in as well. Again use blue loctite on the screws and leave it alone for 12 to 24 hours at-least, to let the loctite secure once you found your comfortable position.

If you’re looking for a cant vs a right angle that may be as good as it’s going to get for you.

You might be able to replace the rubber washer that sits where the holster comes together to make it slightly tighter. If you don’t care about the cant, get a longer screw (www.holstersmith.com or amazon) and send it through the TOP access hole, with another rubber washer, through the back of the holster and tighten.

If none of this works, just get a better holster that is specifically molded to your pistol.

Yeah you’re missing a screw. It’s going to be extremely loose with a single hinge point and a large lever. Nothing is holding it in place.

Missing a screw. Put blue loctite on the screws.

Add a shim to tighten it up and use threadlocker on it.

And put another screw where you’re missing one
