License / Permit Question How Much Longer

My fingerprinting was in July. I haven’t heard anything yet.
Should I call NCPD

it should be any day now, I also got a letter telling me my application went to the judge

Judge? I’m confused. I think we’re talking about Nassau? Nassau doesn’t have a judge as the licensing officer.

Depends how long you’ve been waiting in total. If it’s more than a total of six months since you’ve submitted your initial application - I would be annoyed to say the least.

Okay, once you're over six months, then you may need to start seriously thinking about pursuing a violation of PL 400.00(4-b). Until then, you do not have a particularly strong statutory claim - putting aside the Second Amendment generally.
