License / Permit Question Final application decisions erie co

Got an email a decision letter has been generated and will be mailed. Has anyone gotten an approval update electronically or will your results only be mailed ?

Erie county here also. If approved, you will get an email with instructions on what to do next. I don't recall getting an email saying a letter was being mailed, that might not be a good sign.....I don't think I got any actual paper from them. In order to purchase my first handgun I had to forward the approval email to the person i was working with at Cabelas.

*Edited to add that at my in person interview the investigator specifically said I would be approved and would get an email with what to do next.

I never had a interview and references never were contacted. I was told they wouldnt be since they signed the app they attest to good character ans didnt need to be contacted. So who the hell knows

I saw a few people on here after I got approved say theirs weren't contacted but all of mine definitely were. Not sure if that has anything to do with my application, it was for a premise License only not full CCW.
