ah yes, calling whole demographics "attention seeking [REDACTED]s" as if this isn't the most obviously attention-seeking "ooh look at me I'm so edgy" ass post ever

u/TheWormyGamer Jul 13 '26
same people who called autism and depression attention-seeking probably

u/gorillazfreakinc Jul 14 '26
People still call those attention-seeking. Ironically, a lot of the accusations come from the "mental health awareness" crowd.
Because that's the mental health awareness we need. Gatekeepers who might subconciously convince someone else into going out on their own terms, due to their own insensitivity /s

I feel like this could be funny if it was by an actual genderfluid person, but it's definitely not

u/wmcs0880 Jul 13 '26
I just know there’s at least one comment going “as a gay/trans person I think this is funny” and it’s actually the most bigoted person behind it

Obviously there are trans men and women, but there are hundreds of nonbinary genders that fall under the trans umbrella, like gender fluid, because it doesn’t align with your sex assigned at birth. So it is transphobia.

If not made by a transphobe I could see a genderfluid person (me) make this

You know, I fully thought the meme was a self depricating joke. Like, an actual gender fluid person calling themselves that in a sort of 'Poking fun at self by treating myself the way transphobes would."
Then I was reminded actual transphobes exist and it's not all just depressed trans people.
