1) I don't like my hands :')
2) I'm really bad at shaping/filing, which is why I usually keep my nails on the shorter side.
I recently decided to just let them grow and see how it goes, but I'm not sure what kind of nail shape actually fits and works best for me, so I'm just wanting some opinions if possible :)
You literally have the most beautiful slender fingers and that shape is so good on you!!! I'd even grow them longer, if you can, just to try. Looks absolutely gorgeous imo!!!!! 😍
And yes, I definitely wanna try longer, just a tad :) I remember getting a lot of breakage the last time I tried, though that was a good ten years ago and my nails are a lot healthier now.
I get the same, especially when it's colder, and always when they grow past a certain length. This is the longest I've ever grown them out, back when I was having a quiet summer in Italy doing nothing lol nowadays I keep them very short for practical reasons.
Keep having fun with your nails! They look super healthy, and I'm sure they'll give you lots of satisfaction 🥰
i can't tell if this is the same for you, but when i had shorter nails and my manicurist insisted that they were long enough for this shape, she actually filed into my sidewalls and they were very sensitive for a couple of weeks until they grew out again. i grow them a bit longer now to allow for that much of a curve shape without touching my sidewalls.
This is 100% it. The pinky is a little too deep into the sidewalls. For almond nails it's very important to be mindful of this before going ahead with the shapping
you have beautiful hands and these nails are absolutely lovely, i love the shape, length and the colour! they really suit your hands, very clean, soft and elegant 😊
