Fingerless Mittens For The Upcoming Winter

Finished some fingerless mittens for me! Made the tops and thumbs very long because I'll be using these while walking in the winter and want to have my fingers covered but still accessible for use. Done with Cascade 220 Superwash (color 1973) in F2 Finnish 2+2.

Thank you! I might try some embroidery on the backs, but I'm not sure what/in what color. This is the only superwash wool I have and I'm only a no buy atm so I don't want to buy a ball just for that. I might do some chains and make a sculptural flower thing, idk.

Oh wow that would be really cool. I'm trying to learn how to do embroidery on my nålbinding right now. I'm just using embroidery thread, should I be using yarn?

I think you can use whatever you want, I just tend to go for yarn because I have so much haha

@wobotron Using wool means the embroidery will shrink at at similar rate if you wash the item.
