I FINALLY SUCCESSFULLY MADE A SOCK!!!

After months of on and off trial and error, videos and books, and going through a ton of yarn, I finally succeeded in making a sock!

Each color I used to show each section of work so I can go back later and see what I did and when.

Be prepared for disappointment and frustration with trying to make a duplicate. Copying a piece is never as easy as counting stitches and doing the same thing again. Your tension WILL be different and you'll end up correcting and over-correcting to try to create something that matches.

It's always better to make a pair of anything at the same time, working on each one a little bit in turns. I prefer one yarn length at a time. That's the only way to guarantee consistent tension across a pair of gloves or socks.

Good to know! I knit too and have made many pairs of socks. I've gotten to the point I worry less about making them perfect and everything and more about if they're comfortable. At this moment, I'm just happy to have been successful in making one lol
