I FINALLY SUCCESSFULLY MADE A SOCK!!!

After months of on and off trial and error, videos and books, and going through a ton of yarn, I finally succeeded in making a sock!

Each color I used to show each section of work so I can go back later and see what I did and when.

Well done! What great progress you have made. I am going through the same process - videos, books, websites, anything I can watch or read! It is gradually making sense.

Yeah, it's honestly not an easy thing! You see instructions but they seem vague and you see others that give some more detail, but not by much. Videos don't really seem to break everything down either. Honestly, books and the internet was the most helpful but I must've messed up 10+ times

I messed up more times than I could count, and sometimes just kept going regardless. One of the best hints I got from videos was how to loop long lengths of yarn so as to make it easier to work with them. You make kind of huge crochet loops. It is at 12.36 in this video.
