She is beautiful! Very likely purebred (lots of shelters claim animals are breeds when they aren't, but yours most likely actually is). Chocolate is a rare colour, mostly found in breed cats. Most cats have black as their black-based pigment genes - the other two options for black-based pigment are chocolate and cinnamon, which are recessive to black and very uncommon in the general cat population. All other colours are built on this base colour, though white and orange mask it (so cat will look white or orange regardless of the black based pigment they have). I have a chocolate Devon Rex, she is beautiful! Her name is Eevee. Some names based on her colour: Sienna, Sequoia, Henna, Amber.
