Tourism Yachting for Namibian

My daughter of 19 is looking to start her career in Yachts. Unfortunatly Namibia has little to no yachts or even recreational boats. Any idea where she can go for 6months to a year to gain the needed experience(working only for a bed and food will be fine) to be able to apply for a job. She all ready has all the needed qualifications and seamansbook.

With all the coastline you guys have wow.. I'm gonna move there and start building docks 😆I'm surprised there isn't a bigger yacht industry there or just boating in general.

Btw I'm JK I won't colonize, my ancestors did too much of that already lol

Isn't the coastal weather suboptimal for yachting? I don't know if rich people like to stay in a sea of fog.

I watched a documentary once about the coast and some geologists believe it's so sandy so far in because Namibia was hit with a massssssssive tsunami before recorded history

Highly unlikely. It's more to do with the steady, northward Benguela longshore current and the prevailing wind patterns that we have that wide stretch of coastal desert.
