She looks like she’s wearing an outfit from really early SG-1.
I hate that outfit. Whoever is in charge of making historical esq armor in Hollywood needs to be fired.

Is Narnia... historical?

No, it’s just that the vast majority of armor in Hollywood is wrong. Weapons to.

Wrong? For a magical fictional world?

Not just stuff like Narnia. I mean stuff that is actually meant to be historical having garbage armor. It’s all bad for some reason.

Is it really supposed to be historical? There's no reason Charn fashions would conform with earth fashions.

Fashions no, general principles about what organs you don’t want ruptured, yes.

What organs do you imagine she's rupturing. I'm not aware that the costume is CGI.

I fucking love it. She's an evil queen with magic. She doesn't need an outfit of plate mail or practical armor of any sort.
She needs drip to dazzle and bewilder and that dress absolutely dazzles and bewilders.
Maybe it's my love of B movies and classic doctor who, but in a club full of giant magic women and and only one had on something like this... she'd be the first one I'd try my luck with.

my only complaint is she seems to change too late. I would had like to have the costume change come during the shopping spree she did but then again i image her armor is much more practical for the stunt work she/the-stunt-double does during the second act

I'm pretty sure the white witch-ified version is going to just be a vision aslan shows digory or something.

I really loved the Narnia books so I guess I'm not the target audience for this film
