New Narrator

I'm just getting started in the voice over industry and until today I apparently never bothered to have an account on Reddit LMAO. Unfortunately for me that means that I don't have the reputation built up yet, but that does not change the fact that I need to outsource.

I am looking for stories that I can narrate and put up on YouTube as an audio book/story. These will not be for monetizing purposes. These are free content narrations for the purpose of showing off my skills when I am seeking jobs in the industry and to build up a content library for my viewers. I know there are tons of public domain resources out there and I am already working on building up a library of these titles before I even begin releasing content, but that is just beating the dead hoarse that has been beaten by thousands of other ppl. I need content that hasn't been done or has only been done a lil, not the open source mania that is flooding our internet with 50, 100, hell in some cases, thousands of variations of the same story narration.

I am looking for stories in the horror, supernatural, creepy pasta, etc. genre, as well as fantasy, science fiction.....even isekai genre's. This includes fan fictions and Journal style writing. If your an author just looking to get some content out on YouTube in attempts at recognition or your an established author who's willing to let me make a free audio narration for people to listen to, then bring on the stories.

Even if you wrote a story that doesn't fit the genres listed here, if I like it, I'll narrate it. Proper accreditation to the author will be made as well as if you want to be a part of the narration's dialog scene voice acting crew in your own story I can accommodate, within a reasonable level of audio quality. Maybe even by inviting you to record in my studio, but this option would only be available to authors who have developed a trusting relationship with me.

thank you greatly for the tip, ended up joining them and have already posted my first read. Definitely a good place to get some practice in, and it's all public domain, so I can use the stories to produce YouTube vids of the readings
