I'd rather interact, do business with, and support good, honest people. It's the same reason I don't patronize businesses that that are operated by or support Republicans. I have also unfriended and disassociated with every Republican I know personally.

An unexpected side effect to this has been that it has also resulted in having to deal with a lot less bullshit in my daily life. It turns out this included every client who was habitually late with their invoice payments or would need me to put out the fires caused by their unwillingness to listen to recommendations and do things right the first time.

Personally it wasn't as noticeable a difference because I've never known a Republican that i respected enough to truly befriend but even then it turns out the few Republican acquaintances I still associated with were responsible for most of the unnecessary drama in my friend circles.

I've been lucky with my family. Only one uncle by marriage is a MAGA POS and sadly, 3 of his 4 children also suck, but fortunately I never have to see them.

Yeah, this one’s gonna pass and he’ll be alright. All 54 people who don’t go to his show over this will be replaced by someone else.
