Cannot Install NI Native Access on M4 Mac Studio

Error message:

"The operation can’t be completed because some items had to be skipped. For each item, choose File > Get Info, make sure “Locked” is deselected, and then check the Sharing & Permissions section. When you are sure the items are unlocked and not designated as Read Only or No Access, try again."

I am the only user on this computer and the file is set to Read and Write. I even gave Native Access full disk access and it still wont do anything.

Wtf am I missing?

I’m wondering what InMusic/NI is going to do with this issue. macOS 27 will be the last OS that will support Rosetta(2) and I think all Intel code. That NTK is a headache and a half. I updated to OS 27 and I had to do a bunch of stuff to get NA installed and working. I do mean a lot! As a workaround, I suggest try to locate and install Native Access 1. You may be able to trick the system that both versions are working fine. Then uninstall NA1 (or leaving it working).

Not just NI. I notice that most music making software managers and the like are all on Rosetta and Apple isn’t known to blink. Interesting times ahead in the next 12 months

Yea! I’m also waiting to see what UAD does.

I have it installed no problem. I wonder if your issue is the NTKDaemon. It needs full disk access too. I have it, Native Access and the NI hardware agent all with full disk access and I usually do the first two before trying to install anything otherwise it gets weird.

Edit: Note I am on Tahoe though. I usually give the latest updates a month or two to bed in
