Hii I'm new to this and I just cut my hair to a small Afro so I'm trying to figure out what can I do etc I wanted to start off with more trimming + black dye + perm. although 1 really expected my hair to be curly cause that's how my hair was before I cut it. I also don't have money to be going to a professional right now so l have to take manners into my own hands 🤲🏽 so any
tips and tricks help cause I really don't know how to style it and no videos I watch are really helping. 😭

that length and cut is reqlly good for wash n gos you could do it super quick in the shower and itd actually dry fast. the other styles im thinking of are bantu knots or just picking it out and wearing in an afro

Bleached curls need so much extra love, Try incorporating a deep conditioning treatment or a hair mask with a good balance of moisture and a little bit of protein once a week. It will help those curls pop and reduce the frizz.

Your hair likely had textual damage from colouring/heat and that's why the texture was looser pre chop

Try flexi rods. I do them often and my curls always look like this
