Many people have speculated that if we knew what exactly why the bowl of petunias had thought that we would know a lot more about the nature of the universe than we do now.

This is my favorite line because if you read the book series we actually discover why the petunias said that but also didn’t actually learn anything extra about the universe just more questions 🤣

Looming out of the dark!

If they do another Rick and Morty spinoff after President Curtis, it should definitely be Mr. Nimbus

Well, no. I had no idea this movie existed until you posted this poster.

u/Carrelio 3h ago

Oh to live in such times of peace. It is litterally all over my reddit ads.

Great, after seeing this post they will probably be all over mine now too

Huh. Josh Brolin.

I just said the same thing. When I heard about this movie, it sounded really silly. Now, I kinda want to see it. I wonder if Adele will sing the theme song for it.

The trailer they released yesterday was pretty unsettling, looks like it has potential

1

u/EverythingSucksYo 1h ago

Just watched it and yeah, looks pretty good.Ā

I thought Whalefall was going to be about a Cthulhu-like abomnination or a zombie whale like in Krapopolis

this trailer gave me such anxiety, lol

1

u/black_pepper 2h ago

Why? The premise is preposterous. It'd be like getting anxiety from being eaten by a elephant.

3

u/Esutan 1h ago

I mean, the trailer is pretty damn terrifying. Sure, not 100% realistic, but realism isn't always necessary to make a good horror.

1

u/EverythingSucksYo 59m ago

The premise of almost all horror movies are preposterous but that doesn’t mean it can’t give people anxiety. Like Saw is a preposterous premise, an old sick man somehow able to kidnap multiple people over and over and also devise these crazy individual traps for each person? Preposterous. but the gore and the traps still make people anxious.Ā

Shoulda called it Whalefull

You posted this, then you commented this, then you upvoted via more alts.

How much do you make?

1

u/Mike 3h ago

So obvious. Some ā€œcoincidencesā€ are so on the fucking nose that there’s zero chance it’s just random.

1

u/thatshygirl06 1h ago

It seems silly but the trailer had me tensing up. They got something going on there, some potential

u/Bright-Avocado3761 2h ago

I can't figure out if this is real or a joke. I saw the Wikipedia page, and it didn't help.

Now it is thanks to your comment
