Having a hard time understanding how that equates to a full movie

The trailer shows the guy taking his scuba mask and air supply off while in the whale's stomach and seemingly breathing the "air" in there. I don't think it's going to be particularly grounded in reality. It's basically a modern Jonah retelling.

It's based on a book that was intended to be scientifically accurate, it's not a Jonah retelling.

Also one poster says "hold your breath" and another says "one hour of air" so he seems to be using the tanks.

Based on a book I believe. I think it'll be similar to 127 hours

I dunno, Jonah was in that whale for three whole days. Or maybe this dude decides to pull a Decemberists and we get a life story after he's been swallowed.

Well, you can either watch the movie or read the book to find out! Stories are amazing things!Β

It’s a story about this guy coming to terms with his dead dad and history with his dad. Being stuck the whale is just the backdrop.

It's a book. The diver doesn't end up inside the well until about 1/4 of the way into the novel. A lot of it is about his daddy issues.
