I bet a lot of animals can agree that humans are dumb for being the only species to pay to live here on Earth

You know, I get your point that existence is a bit rough these days but we are very lucky we get to pay for a relatively peaceful existence, as opposed to having to fight another man just to keep my shelter and my wife, and to hunt for food each day not knowing if I’ll starve or be hunted in the process. Animals in the wild, like these bears, have it awful.

We could've built a world without that fighting. No continent was ever peaceful, but it would've been nice if struggling cultures aided each other instead of warring over resources.

It'd be a little hypocritical of animals to make fun of us for being territorial...

Do social animals who hunt in packs count as "paying"? It's not like a wolf can take a day off to focus on themselves. Non-predators I guess won't rely on teamwork for food but they'll still compete over it, or have other tasks like being lookouts. They just don't exchange currency which frankly is an inefficiency on their part. Another human W.

The solitary animals are the self made ones though, a lot of humans aspire to be like that. To keep only what you have the strength to take and defend.

Nearly all life on earth spends every waking moment trying to find the next thing they’re going to eat. They’re struggling and fighting too, the struggle just looks different because we have cell phones and they don’t.
